Sande Marine Plywood is a quality utility  marine panel.   Another of its  attributes is that it has the  lowest  price point of any of our marine plywood's.  When used appropriately, it is a low cost, serviceable, strong panel made to be used in the marine environment with the correct protections from the elements that normally could cause wood fiber to deteriorate .

 The core is well balanced,although it does have the occasional small core void.  The specie of the face veneers are Sande wood which is a South American specie that is of medium density.  It is laminated with phenolic glue.

 It is not a high quality fancy panel to be used in exposed situations where the weather can get to it nor is it a panel that one might use as a bright finished fancy panel.  Although somewhat non descript it is nice looking with the color being a uniform pale blonde.

Marine Plywood's are not required to be built of species that are naturally durable.  It is  recommended that the standard trade practice of applying  epoxy sealers, paint or preservative compounds to both face surfaces and edges in order to prevent moisture ingress is addressed during construction.
