European Steamed Beech Superior is top grade. Superior is three-sides clear and better, predominantly four-sides clear. The beech is steamed to give the material a warm uniform color. No color selection is made, meaning you will find both sap and heartwood in this grade. Superior Color has no restriction on the darker colored heartwood.
