Recognized as a striking Imported wood, this Wenge lumber showcases a distinctive dark brown to nearly black heartwood accented with subtle yellowish-brown or reddish undertones, contrasting with a yellowish-white sapwood. This Imported Wenge lumber presents a straight grain layout accompanied by a coarse, stiff texture and a distinctively dry feel. It offers very durable natural rot resistance, making it exceptionally reliable for high-impact applications, and emits a mild, faintly bitter scent during mechanical processing.

Due to its high density and silica content, working with this Wenge wood requires sharp carbide tooling to minimize rapid cutter blunting and splintering along the grain. Acting as a dependable Import lumber, it complies with certified forestry standards upon request, bonds securely when properly prepared, and accepts high-polish finishes exceptionally well.
